Audio System Connect and Setup with Concealment
You’ve taken a big step toward expanding your home theatre system with various peripherals but hooking them up to an audio/video receiver can be the greater challenge. Let a Geek Squad Agent come to the rescue. We’ll get your sources connected properly, neatly dress messy wires, conceal front wires in a channel, and give you a basic tutorial on how it all works.
What’s Included
- A Geek Squad Agent will perform the connection and setup of a home theatre audio system, such as a home theatre in a box (HTIB) or a discrete audio receiver and speaker system
- Our Agent will connect all applicable input sources, such as a television, gaming console, Blu-ray player, or satellite/cable box
- We will neatly manage the cables for the best possible visual experience.
- We will conceal the cables for the front speakers in conduit or cable channels.
- The Geek Squad Agent will provide a thorough tutorial to ensure you are familiar with how to maximize the usage and experience with your newly configured home theatre audio system
What’s Not Included
This Geek Squad service excludes:
- installation of in-wall or wireless speakers.
- configuration of multi-zone audio systems or outdoor audio systems.
- cable concealment in conduit or cable channels.
- installation of wireless speaker kits.
- speaker or receiver mounting.
How To Prepare
- Ensure the television and all sources that the home theatre system will be connected to are accessible for the Geek Squad Agent that will attend your home. The Geek Squad Agent will need access to a power outlet for the receiver and subwoofer and will need access to the outputs on the back of the television and any sources you intend to use.

We’ll set up as many as two existing network devices, update the device’s (or devices’) firmware and guide you through any necessary user account setup and configuration. We’ll also demonstrate how to update these credentials and settings for future reference.

It’s like we were never there. We’ll clean up the work area and remove all tools and supplies.
