Televes 237302 FTTH Optical Transmitter
With this transmitter we will be able to mix a terrestrial RF signal and an optical signals from satellite (at 1310nm) to fiber.
The transmitter works as follows: it takes the DTT signal and converts it to an optical signal (at 1550nm), which will mix it with the satellite optical signal, multiplexing it to obtain a single fiber optic signal at the output with all the content of the 2 original signals.
It allows to carry the DTT and satellite signal through fiber over long distances, with little loss of signal quality.
