The LNB Inverto Unicable2 allows installations with up to 32 satellite receivers* through a single cable.
The LNB is factory set to “dynamic mode”.
The change to “static mode” can be done using the optionally available programmer.
Dynamic mode (delivery status)
Up to 32 receivers/tuners connected via a single coaxial cable. All devices have access to the total number of transponders available for the destination satellite. The receiving device must comply with EN50494 (CH0-CH7) or EN50607 (CH0-CH31). Example: A total of 120 transponders are transmitted from the satellite. Each of the 120 transponders can be received by any of up to 32 receivers/tuners installed in the home.
Static mode (adjustable by programmer**)
Any number of receiving devices connected with a single coaxial cable can receive up to 32 transponders. Here, 32 transponders are converted to 32 satellite IF frequencies using digital channel stacking technology. Example: A DTH operator offers its service through 32 transponders. Any number of receiving devices (Legacy or Unicable) can be connected via a single coaxial cable, each with access to any of 32 transponders.
The LNB is powered by a connected STB or via an optional external power supply/power inserter if the connected STB cannot supply enough power. The Unicable2 LNB is backward compatible and complies with EN50494 and EN50607 standards. Communication between the multi-switch and connected uni-cable receivers is performed in accordance with EN50494 and/or EN50607 and can be defined for each user band, allowing seamless integration into installations that only have EN50494 capability or a combination of EN50494 /EN50607- Compatible PVRs and latest generation HGW.
