EACH 974XMC UNIT HAS:
• 4 cascadable LNB inputs for a universal Quattro/Quad LNB
• 1 terrestrial trunk
• 4, 8 or 16 SCR/Legacy outputs (9744MC, 9746MC or 9748MC)
• 1 DC input
EACH OUTPUT CAN SUPPORT A WIDE VARIETY OF SATELLITE RECEIVERS:
• In Legacy mode, the 974xMC outputs can be used as a standard
multiswitch
• In SCR mode, each 974xMC output supports up to 16UBs with all versions of
the single cable technology
• This includes OLT, SCR, CSS, EN50494, EN50607, and newer versions
AS ALL OUTPUTS ARE INDEPENDENT, THE INSTALLATION CAN BE A MIX OF LEGACY AND
SCR CONNECTIONS
THE OUTPUTS WILL AUTOMATICALLY DETECT THE APPROPRIATE MODE (SCR OR
LEGACY)
The terrestrial path allows support of any service operating below 1 GHz,
including terrestrial cable and DOCSIS reception
• The terrestrial path can be amplified or bypass
• via user selected switch
• LTE 4G ready – built in filtering
MULTIPLE WAYS TO POWER THE PRODUCT
• Powered from the DC Input: use ref. 2460(UK)
• Power from Trunk : this is if another 974xMC is
• powering the system
– Each product has a power-up diagnostic mode with a LED to indicate if
power is adequate for the system
• Power from the STB or MC power insertor
• Special low power Legacy mode <2W
