This device is used for the installation and maintenance of fiber optic networks. It is compatible with single-mode fibers of 1310/1550nm wavelengths.
It allows us to locate faults in the network quickly. It has a battery with a range of up to 8 hours of continuous use (and 20 hours on standby). It is a portable OTDR, small in size, very comfortable to transport. It has a 5? touch screen that makes it much easier to use and carry out operations.
Among the functions it performs are: automatic OTDR, expert OTDR mode, link image, optical power meter, stabilized laser source, optical loss test and visual fault locator.
It features short range performance with 1.5m event dead zone and 8m attenuation dead zone.
