The 769217 Optical Media Converter is the ideal solution for extending Ethernet network communication over single-mode fiber optic links. Designed for environments that require data transmission over long distances, this device converts 10/100/1000Base-TX electrical signals received through an RJ45 connector into optical signals transmitted over single-mode fiber via an SC/UPC connector.
It is ideal for connecting offices or buildings separated by large distances of up to 10 km, ensuring fast and stable data transmission.
With easy Plug & Play installation, it is compatible with Cat 5 or higher data cables and complies with IEEE 802.3 standards. Its metal housing provides efficient thermal management and optimal durability, and also includes the power supply.
For proper operation, it is necessary to use this device together with the media converter reference 769216.
