OnePlus Nord Buds Price in Kenya 7,999. This design language carries over to a pill-shaped case styled in a similar matte black plastic. The only notable difference is the OnePlus name on the lid in glossy black letters that dont draw too much attention. The only other visible traits are a status LED in the front and the USB-C port in the back, which sits next to a virtually invisible button used for pairing.
Ive noticed one other quirk after spending more time with the buds, but Im not sure if its intentional or merely a fluke. It turns out the top of the case has a magnetic field in the center that will hold a single bud in place. Its not an aggressively strong hold, and the bud must be in the correct orientation, but its enough to hold a bud even with the case upside down. Perhaps this sounds like a strange thing to be excited about, but I cant count the number of times I have been wearing just one bud and then removed it for a conversation. If I need to set down the bud for a few minutes, its more convenient to place it on the top of the case rather than open the lid and orient the bud into its cradle.
Comfort is pretty good, at least for short and mid-length listening sessions. It seems to take between 30-45 minutes before I get perceivable fatigue, a bit longer than most of the buds Ive used in the past. However, they seem to also hit a point of irritation more quickly, leaving me wanting to take a break after a little over 2 hours instead of the 3-4 hours I can reach with some other buds.
In addition to the case and buds, the box includes the standard three sizes of silicone ear tips, a USB A-to-C cable, manuals, and one of three Nord emoji stickers.

Like other OnePlus true wireless earphones, the Nord Buds CE uses the HeyMelody app to enable customization of the earphones, but only on non-OnePlus smartphones. If you have a OnePlus smartphone, the functionality is embedded into the phones Bluetooth settings, and doesnt need an app. The Nord Buds CE are only supported by the HeyMelody app on Android though; iOS users dont get app support.
I used the earphones with a OnePlus smartphone, which allowed me to use OnePlus Fast Pair to quickly pair and link the earphones to my smartphone. I then had to go into the Bluetooth menu for the earphones and tap Earbud functions to reach the detailed settings for the Nord Buds CE.
Performance and battery life
Its sound quality is quite heavily influenced by the fit. Even the slightest change in the way you put the earphones into your ears can considerably change the sound; this is common on all earphones with this fit, but feels particularly pronounced on the Nord Buds CE. However, over the course of my review, I found the right fit for a good combination of comfort and sound quality.
Support for the SBC and AAC codecs meant that the Nord Buds CE were equally at ease with iOS and Android devices, although for my review I primarily used a OnePlus smartphone as the source device to ensure easy access to the customisation features. The earphones were fairly loud, and despite the lack of proper noise isolation, even a volume level of around 60 percent was more than enough for indoor listening.
