this model does not require the user to remain outdoors with a clear view of
the sky to maintain a stable connection. Its design supports seamless
operation from vehicles to indoor environments, including basements. The
system operates on the Iridium satellite network, providing true worldwide
coverage, including the polar regions.

Satellite Push-To-Talk Explained

The IC-SAT100M is a dedicated satellite push-to-talk radio that enables
real-time, one-touch communication between groups of users located anywhere
in the world. By using the Iridium satellite network, it ensures consistent
global connectivity. Use of the IC-SAT100M requires an active subscription,
and regulations regarding use or possession may vary by country or region.

One-to-Many Communication

Users can instantly communicate with all radios assigned to the same
talkgroup by simply pressing the PTT button, enabling fast and efficient
group coordination.

True Global Coverage

With support from the Iridium satellite network, the IC-SAT100M provides
complete global coverage, including both the North and South Poles.
Subscription services are required, and regional restrictions may apply.

Real-Time, Low-Latency Performance

The system operates using 66 low Earth orbit satellites, delivering
low-latency communication and more reliable coverage compared to traditional
geosynchronous satellite systems.

Interoperability with Other Communication Systems

When combined with a VE-PG4 RoIP gateway, the IC-SAT100M can interconnect
with IP phones, WLAN, LTE networks, IDAS digital systems, analog radios, and
other communication platforms, including Type-D multi-site trunking and
conventional systems.

Installation and Hardware Features

The antenna unit with integrated RF module is installed on the rooftop,
allowing the radio to be used from vehicles, indoors, or underground
locations. The antenna unit and main unit are connected using a LAN cable,
ensuring simple and reliable wiring. The system supports both 13.2 V and 26.4
V DC vehicle power sources.

Durability and Audio Performance

The antenna unit with RF module is rated IP67, the main unit is IP54, and
the microphone is IP55, offering protection in demanding environments. A
powerful 1500 mW audio output ensures clear communication.
